From Sea to C: Clean innovation for a better tomorrow
At Stilæ, we all share the same conviction: innovation must serve the environment in a concrete and measurable way.
Several founding members are sailors and have long been aware of the fragility of marine ecosystems. We took a close look at seaweed and its properties, convinced that it offers sustainable solutions to reduce our environmental impact.
Our goal is simple: to develop a product that is useful, sustainable, and whose positive impact can be measured. Plastic pollution in the oceans is a major issue, and we wanted to provide an effective alternative, relying on scientific research and technological innovation.

With three of our founders being distinguished researchers, our various patents have enabled us to be recognized as Deeptech and to establish strong barriers to entry.
Our DNA places R&D at the core of our project. We are incubated by PC’UP (ESPCI), have received the BFTE and FPI from BPI, are labeled FrenchTech Seed, and hold the JEU( Jeune Entreprise Universitaire) status.
Design
The beauty of design, backed by R&D, makes the product feel self-evident and sparks a revolution in everyday uses.
We have partnered with Mathieu Lehanneur, a world-renowned designer (flame and cauldron of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games), to join Stilæ.

The revolution in usage happens faster when it is affordable.
Our packaging is far more competitive than plastic.

From seaweed-based packaging to natural contents developed in-house, and throughout our production chain, all our actions are designed to be cleaner than current solutions.
We reduce CO₂ emissions while guaranteeing a zero plastic waste solution. We are a member of Bioeconomy for Change.
